MLOps Engineer - AI Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile MLOps Engineer to join our startup team. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between our data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and our production infrastructure. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our AI/ML pipelines and systems, leveraging various cloud services and AI frameworks to support the development of our AI-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to design and implement efficient ML pipelines for training, testing, and deploying models
Set up and manage cloud-based infrastructure for AI/ML workloads using Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
Integrate and optimize AI services from providers such as OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and AWS AI Services
Implement and manage version control for ML models, data, and code
Design and maintain APIs for our AI-based products, potentially using Kong API Gateway
Ensure seamless integration of our AI services with other internal and external systems
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI/ML systems to ensure reliability and performance
Optimize resource usage and costs associated with AI/ML infrastructure
Stay up-to-date with the latest MLOps tools, practices, and AI frameworks
Provide technical guidance and support to the data science and AI/ML engineering teams
Requirements:
Experience in MLOps, DevOps, or similar roles with a focus on AI/ML systems
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their ML-related services
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows
Knowledge of API design and management, experience with Kong API Gateway is a plus
Understanding of data storage solutions and data processing at scale
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with HuggingFace and other NLP tools and libraries
Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices
